Jesenice is a rail junction on the Karawanks line from Villach, the mainline from Ljubljana, and the Bohinj line to Nova Gorica, but it is not a resort itself. Kranjska Gora's own station closed in 1966, so Jesenice, about 20 km away, is the official rail approach, reached onward by bus, taxi or the valley cycle path. Ljubljana Airport has no confirmed through service to Jesenice, and no TransferBnB hub exists there today.
