Interlaken Ost has a direct Zurich Airport connection, about two hours seventeen minutes with the first departure around five in the morning. From here the Berner Oberland Bahn and Zentralbahn continue to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Wengen, all onward rail journeys rather than a bus or taxi last mile.
